Add to Your Device for Offline Use
EngCalcs is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once installed, all calculators work fully offline — no internet connection needed.
Android (Chrome)
Open any calculator page in Chrome.
Tap the ⬇ Install button in the top navigation bar, or tap the browser menu (⋮) and choose Add to Home screen.
Tap Install in the prompt that appears.
EngCalcs appears on your home screen and works offline.
Install prompt not available — use your browser menu instead.
iOS (Safari)
Open any calculator page in Safari.
Tap the Share button (box with arrow pointing up).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add. EngCalcs appears on your home screen.
On iOS, installing always uses the Share menu — there is no automatic install prompt.
Desktop (Chrome / Edge)
Open any calculator page.
Click the install icon (⊕ or computer icon) in the browser's address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install EngCalcs…
Click Install. EngCalcs opens as a standalone app window.
Firefox / Other Browsers
If your browser offers no install option, nothing is lost: use the calculators normally in the browser, and after your first visit pages are cached automatically for offline use. Firefox on the desktop is the common case.
What Gets Cached
The first time you install EngCalcs, all calculator pages and their supporting files (scripts, styles) are saved on your device automatically. After that, everything works without an internet connection. Your language choice is remembered from your last online visit.
May we keep one digit in this browser to remember that we have already counted this page? It records nothing about you and nothing you type. Without it we cannot tell your second visit from somebody else's first.
